"wow i didn’t know others actually liked movies still. well i do have this one good movie...its back from the rely old days." Art said loading the ancient DVD into the player.
The next few hours they watched a certain samurai slash thru many opponents leading up to the final battle with a man named bill.
threw the movie Art couldn’t help but notice that Andi had fallen asleep on the recliner across from his bed. He got up and grabbed a blanket from the pile near his bed and gently placed it over her. He just then realized. “there’s a girl sleeping in my room!” he thought to him self.
“she actually really cute asleep…NO! she’s my bodyguard…but…NO!” Art thought to him self as he turned and walked over to his bed. Taking one look back and looking at the sleeping beauty in the chair he quickly got into his bed and fell asleep.

Something was wrong. Andi stirred in her sleep and slowly cracked open her eyes. It was still dark out. She'd fallen asleep in Art's chair, he was curled up in his bed. Nothing looked out of the ordinary, but she still felt as if something was out of place. Getting up slowly, she crept to the window and looked out. Nothing.
She was about to shrug it off and go to her own room when an explosion rocked the home.
"Shit!" She cried, grabbing her gun from it's holster. She was glad she kept it on her. "Art wake up!" She screamed, punching his shoulder lightly and running to the door to wait for the intruder.
As Art groggily sat up she listened to the sound of voices down the hall. She tensed and waited for the intruders to come.
Unexpectedly, the bedroom door was blown in by a wave of blue energy and Andi cursed loudly. "Get back! It's DetaB!" She yelled tyo her charge. She aimed her gun at the knees of the man who'd entered and fired three shots, but all bounced harmlessly of an invisible barrier.
The man looked over at her and grinned. "What's this?" He chuckled, flicking his black hair out of his face. "A little baby Blocker? Sorry love, but I'm not here for you." He raised his hand and Andi felt her arms lock to her sides. "Art, run!" She tried to scream, but the psychic had gagged her as well and descended on Art, tying him up the same way he had her. 'This is very, very bad.'

“Andi! Help!” Art yelled trying to get out of the bind holding him.
“ I cant move Andi help!” Art was levitated into the air and so was Andi.
“damn you bastards!” AndI screamed as she spit out the gag and started to cry.
“shut it you.” the DetaB agent snapped at AndI as he started to descend the stares down to the entrance to the house that was now on fire and smoldering.
“now look here. There’s your dad, lets go have a talk with him then shall we?” the DetaB agent said to them leading over to the spot where there was a man held up by a blue aura.
“DAD! Let him go!” Art screamed. He then noticed that his mothers body was on the floor. Unfortunately she wasn’t moving.
“Art don’t look! Close your eyes!” Andi commanded Art.
“the blockers will be here any second!” Ned told his captors.
“well no mater…the message I clear. We are getting more powerful…and soon it will be this entire colony.
You damn blockers are just afraid…you cant ever get any where near what we have achieved!” the captor said.

Phoenix frowned at the amily a moment as the house burned around him. "You guys are lucky I'm not like you." He groaned finally, picking up Ned and his wife and depositing them safely outside. The Blocker grunt and the boy were another matter. 'This is quite possibly the weirdest assignment I've ever gotten.' He thought to himself as he carried the pair with him to his ship.
"Where are you taking us?" The Blocker girl demanded, struggling uselessly.
"I'm not going to kill you." He girnned. "Or anyone else." He added for the benefit of the panicked looking boy. "I'm just going to take you guys to hang out at DetaB with you until dear old Commander Ned decides to call off that new project of his. I guess you guys don't know about that one though, do you? Of course not. It's Top Secret." He smiled cheekily in response to the glare the girl was giving him. The door to his ship opened and he dragged them in behind him. He tied both their wrists behind their backs before he sat them down on the floor behind the pilot's seat and released them from the psychic bonds.
"I know we don't have a lot of time, so I'll make the introductions quick. My name is Phoenix, and I'll be your kidnapped for the time being. Plese be advised that there is only one exit, which we will not be using becausde jumping out of a ship into empty, oxygenless space is a pretty damned bad idea. In the case of an emergency..." He stopped a moment to think about that, "Well, we're all screwed. In the case of an attempted highjacking, all passengers will be promtly knocked out and lose all privelages to having dessert with their dinners." Despite his cheerful demeanor, Andi recognized the threat in his voice.
Phoenix looked at Arthur and smiled. "Don't glare at me like that, kiddo. The commander and his pretty trophy will be just fine. I think momma just inhaled a bit too much smoke. You're Arthur, right? I thought as much," He didn't even wait for Art's respone before he looked at Andi. "And who might this pretty little thing be? A Blocker, and still so young!"
Andi glared at him and promptly kicked him between the legs.
Phoenix winced and double over a moment, but eventually laughed it off. "Ah, she has spunk." He chuckled.
An explosion outside rocked the ship and knocked him back into business mode. "Well, looks like the cavalry's arrived. Time to fly." He slipped into the pilot's seat and started the ship. With incredible speed, the ship burst through the airlock and disappeared into space.

Shadina looked out from a shadow on the ship. She was there to keep an eye on things. She didn't like blockers, because they were the ones who had caused Dace to lose his memory of her. She watched Andi with a detached expression. She knew that the blocker would be able to sense her eyes on her, but not be able to see her.

Art was in total shock...what could he do? he had never encountered physic from DetaB. All he could do was close his eyes and cry him self to sleep.

Their kidnapper was singing an obnoxious song about beer while he piloted the ship into space. It was starting to grate on Andi's nerves. Not only that, but she was sure that one or twice she saw movement out of the corner of her eye, but when she turned there was nothing there.
Art had fallen asleep some time ago, but Andi just couldn't relax enough to sleep, although she was dead tired. Instead she contented herself with glaring at the back of Phoenix's head. What a stupid name, she thought grouchily.
She was starting to relax a bit when Phoenix suddenly spoke up. "Refueling satation!" He announced merrily. "Wake up kiddies. I'm hungry." He slowly manoevered into refueling station, which consisted mainly of a giant floating gas tank in space with a few pumps and a small store. He refuelled, docked the ship and sauntered into the cabin part of the ship. He prodded Art awake with his foot and grinned. "Who else is starving back here? I certainly am. Stand up and promise to be good and I'll untie you and even buy you food!"

Art woke up instantly by the sharp pain of the kick. “what-oh…” Art said in a half-awake grumble.
“so are you going to behave?” asked Phoenix
“don’t say anything Art.” Andi said to Art.
“oh come on. I’m offering you PRISSINORS food! Cant you just appreciate that?” Phoenix said telling Andi. “so do you want something or not” he said unbinding them.

Shadina stood up and discarded the shadow. He dark hair framed her face, but did not hide the fact that her eyes were red. "If you're so kind as to be offering," She smirked, "How 'bout pizza?"

Andi jumped at the sudden appearance of the woman behind her. 'There were two of them all along?!' She gaped. It was a good thing she hadn't tried to take over the ship then. Who knew if there were more still hiding on the ship?
"Pizza!" Phoenix said with glee. "Wonderful idea Shadi!" To Andi it looked as if he was about to dance a jig. "I hope it's better than the pizza at DetaB. The pizza there taste like cardboard, although it might just be me. The kitchen staff still hasn't forgiven me for that time I switched around the sugar and salt." He turned on his hell and led the way out into the station and loped over to the display case to drool over the slices of pizza sitting under the heat lamps. Andi and Art followed with litte complaint. Andi's stomach was rumbling in response to the smell of food,a nd as long as it was store bought she was moderately certian there wouldn't be anything disagreeable in it.

Shadina placed her left hand on Art's shoulder and flicked open her lighter. "I wouldn't if I were you." The small flame grew and formed into a dancing figure two inches high. "You would end up facing a wall of fire, slowly encirling you." She grinned wickedly, flicked shut her lighter, and went to look at pizza.

Phoenix chuckled as Shadina joined him at the counter. "You enjoy scaring them, don't you?" He laughed. "But really, Shadi, can't you see they're terrified?" He shook his head slowly and pulled out his wallet. "Well, what kind of pizza should we get?"
Behind them, Andi looked at Art and shook her head. "Right now I think escaping would be a very bad idea."

"Meat Lovers." Shadina replied immediatly. "And I don't care if they're terrified. The Blockers stole my brothers memory." She glared at Andi sideways.

"I don't like them any more than you do," Phoenix sighed. "But both of them are just...kids really. They just don't know any better." He shrugged and bought a few slices of pizza from the impatient man behind the counter. "In any case, if all goes well they won't be around for long. And we only have to put up with them until we make it to DetaB, right? So just try and relax. These aren't the same people who hurt your brother." With that he carried the pizza to the table Andi and Art had sat down at dropped down onto the chair. "Dig in guys." He offered with a smile that was a bit too wide to be believed. He didn't care much for Blockers either, but he had sworn long ago that he'd never be prejudiced the way he seemed to be. Some may call him idealistic, but he was tyhe kind of person who believed there was good in everyone.

Shadina helped herself and retreated inside herself. Once she was done her share, she brought out her lighter and started playing with the flame idly. Her gaze wandered around the room, seeing nothing and everything. She reached out her mind to Art.
"Does this bother you?"

Shadina sighed and looked pointedly at Art. "I am talking to you in your head, don't worry, I can't read anything that you don't want me to, unless you form the words, just think the words and I will be able to receive them." Outloud she said, "Sorry, I was just shifting my leg." It was a lie, and a decoy to the others. "I don't want the others to know what I am doing."

She smiled the smallest of smiles. "Yes, I can hear you. I really just wanted to ask if you had any siblings." She pointedly avoided looking at Andi.
