"Noel...Noel...Hay wake up!"
"But the cow hasn’t given me my popcorn yet..."
"w-what? hahaha. Wake up stupid!" and with that Noel was kicked out of the bed he had been sleeping in for quite some time now.
with a hard thud he crashed to the floor.
"Come on...the suns been up for hours"
"You didn’t have to kick me out of the bed"
"well I could have set your hair on fire...would you have liked that?"
"go take a bath..." said Noel wipeing his eyes
with a flick of the wrist Zhi had her finger pointed at Noel's face with a flame dancing on the tip of her finger.
"what did you say?"
"spare me your wrath?" Noel said realizing the stupid mistake he had just made.
"that’s what I thought" said Zhi as she closed her hand and walked away.
"Scene i spent all morning trying to wake you up i think its only fair that you make breakfast" said Zhi plopping her self on to the bed across the way from Noel’s.
"fine..." said Noel standing and dusting off his oversized pancho.
with that Noel walked into the Kitchen area and grabbed a plate on witch he placed a piece of Jerky.
his hands reached into his poncho to withdraw a bottle of bubbly liquid. Noel pored the liquid onto the meat and grabed a pair of tongs that where close by.
"you aren’t useing your elements and chemicals again to cook are you?" asked Zhi from across the room.
"don’t worry...it'll be good." Said Noel as he continued to turn the now frothy meat in its plate.
"it better be" Zhi said sounding like she wasn’t exactly caring of the taste but how quickly it could be done.
at a point Noel removed the meat and rinsed it off with a bottle of water. the meat was now tender and ready for eating. with a knife Noel cut the slab of once Jerky into 2 good size pieces of meat.
"its ready" Noel said to Zhi who sprang up and hurried to the table.
"Zhi I need some fire." Noel said holding the plate.
suddenly the plate burst into Wight flames for about 3 seconds. when the flames where gone the meat was sizzling hot.
"I'll take that" Zhi said picking up the pipeing hot piece of meat.
"wish i could eat it at such a hot temperature" Complained Noel
"just another advantage of being a Fire mage" she said eating her meal.

thats right...a fire mage. What is a fire mage you may ask? well as far as i know its some one who can control fire...as for me, I’m an alchemist. we have both really gotten good in the past years...it was only 2 years ago that we completed our quest to find the bottles that could hold dangerous elements...why are we still around each other even though we completed our quest? well only a year ago everything changed....

"Do you really believe that this is a good idea? That guy we got the tip from didn't look too trustworthy." Zhi frowned at the run down town she and Noel were now facing.

They'd found all the bottles nearly a year ago, but somehow Zhi hadn't been able to get rid of the cheerful alchemist. Not that she minded. Not really. It was nice to have a travelling companion for a change. She'd been alone for far too long.

It was this lonliness that probably sparked her sudden desire to seek out the family she had been taken from when she was a girl. For some reason Noel had offered to help her, and for that she was grateful. Not that she'd ever let him know that, of course.

A series of misadventures and bad tips had finally led them to this dusty little town, where the homes were dirty and the people dirtier. It didn't seem like the sort of place Zhi would want to find her family. "Maybe we should check the maps again. I don't think we're in the right place."

"well the map says this is the place..." Noel said looking at the map again
"well maybe we should ask around...see if they know any one from your family?" said Noel as he rolled up the map and placed it back into his poncho.

Zhi muttered curses under her breath but followed Noel into the town anyway. She didn't really know if she wanted to be related to anyone from this dump, but if she found her family, that didn't mean she had to stay with with. This was just for closure, really. She knew she'd never really be happy until she knew who they were.

"I guess asking around wouldn't hurt," She agrred reluctantly. She enver really believed they were in the wrong place anyway. It seemed only suited that she would come from a dump like this. "I was kinda hoping they woudl be rich though. I could use the coin."

(OOC: Sorry I couldn't get online last night. My stepfather turned my internet off again. :@)

Noel laughed "Yeah that would help...don’t worry about it too much. we still have some food money"

Seeing how Zhi looked at this town made Noel think of his family...and how he too came from a run-down town.
"Don’t worry too much... i came from a town like this." Noel said looking at some of the ruined buildings that surrounded them.

(occ: well i didn’t see much going on here so im going to post again)

with out worry Nole started down the dirty streets. his hand was on one of his bottles of acid. true he came from a place like this. this didn’t mean that he trusted such a place.
"I know how you must feel Zhi...its not easy to accept things some times...." Nole said ....but didn’t get a response...noticing this Nole turned around, Zhi was gone. only her staff was on the floor. "crap"

with one hand over her mouth and a large sphere of water orbiting around his staff Zhi didn’t make a move.
"who the hell are you? i thought i took out all the fire mages?" the man from behind her asked her and himself.
hearing this Zhi became enraged. suddenly she burst into flames. the impact of the explosion hit the assailant and knocked him at the wall behind them. the shear impact bounced him off the wall and on the floor in front of Zhi. Zhi now exhausted from the blast stumbled and held herself agenst the wall behind her. the attacker’s staff was still in hand and now pointing at Zhi.

Nole picked up Zhi's staff and looked around. there where no signs of a struggle but their was also too many small gaps in houses to examine all of them.
suddenly a large blast of light emitted from one of the ally ways. Nole suddenly ran at full speed knowing something was going on.
turning the Conner and seeing Zhi in danger and the stranger pointing his staff at her Nole yelled out to Zhi "blast him!"
Zhi returned with "He's a Water mage!" she said gasping for air and holding herself up.
the Sphere of water was growing and still orbiting around his staff. thinking quickly Nole grabbed a small glass tube and tossed it in the air. he held Zhi's staff like a bat and slammed the small tube at the Sphere of water. the glass broke and a small glint of raw potassium hit into the sphere of water. upon contact the staff, the sphere of water and the user was blown away huge explosion of water.

The explosion knocked Nole on to his back. he looked up and noticed that the Water mage was no longer their. the crystal in his staff was the only thing left in his remains. the entire ally was soaked. so was Zhi.
"Zhi!" Nole called out and ran to his companions side. She was steaming. He had seen this before, this wasn’t a good signe.
"Don’t worry Zhi we'll get to a hospital or something." Nole said picking up her limp body.
"damn...got to find a place quick!"
With Zhi in arm Nole stopped and looked at the Crystal on the floor. Not wanting to have leave any clues about her attacker he picked it up and tucked it away in his robe. With that he set out to find a place to get Zhi better.

"Sir?"
"Yes?"
"Your friend has requested you. Please this way"
(occ: ok now i hope you have a good part after this!...becouse if you dont then i have to move on to part 3...oh please post Lee!)

Zhi was sitting cross-legged on her bed when Noel entered the room. She did her best to look composed no matter how weary she felt. "Did you happen to get a good eyeful of that water mage?" she wondered, covering a yawn with her hand. "What happened to him anyway?"

She didn't wait for Noel's answer. "He said something weird. He said 'I thought I got rid of all the fire mages.' What do you think he meant by that?"

Nole though of that for a moment...
"is that all he said?" asked Nole and got a nod from Zhi.
"humm...did you know of any fire mages besides your slef?" asked Nole sitting on the chair in the room.

besides Zhi there where other beds in the room some occupied some not. the room like the town wasn’t all that nice looking. for such a small room it was odd to see so many beds packed into such a place. the bed across from Zhi's had an old man who looked like he was in pain from the way he continued to moan and whimper in his bed.

"He looks like he needs a nurse." Nole said looking over at the man in pain.

Zhi inclined her head slightly in acknowledgement. The old man had been moaning on and off for some time now. At first it had been anoying, but now Zhi felt only pity for the man. Carefully she slipped off the bed and walked slowly over to the other bed. "Old man," She asked, "Do you want me to get someone for you?"

Nole joined Zhi in her walk towards the mans bed side.
"would you like me to call some one to help you?"
the old man continued to moan at one point he held his head. "leave...NOW!" the old man suddenly yelled out.
with this he started to become more active and started to flail and thrash about in his bed.
not knowing what to do Nole took a few steps back.
"I think he's dieing Zhi" Nole said looking his companion.
