Full Name: Dr Alec Hendin
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Body type: Of medium height and slender build, Hendin doesn’t really stand out from the crowd.
Backstory: Born when his mother’s research trip to Earth went terribly wrong, Alec was saved from his mother’s disease-ridden body by her teammates upon her request to be returned to his father. He grew up as would any other Moon-born child; his father never questioned the motives of the Blockers, but died in an accident while traveling to Mars for business when Alec was nineteen. He now works as a very talented member of the Blocker research team, despite the fact that he openly questions and doubts the Blockers’ motives. (You could say his abilities save him from ‘going tragically missing’.)
Hair/eye color and style: His hair is deep blue with flecks of brown and grey (though he’s only twenty-four), and is perpetually messy due to its I-need-a-good-trim length and inconsistent colour. Occasionally he will pull it back into a loose ponytail to keep it out of his run-of-the-mill brown eyes.
Clothing and Style: Although usually seen wearing a colour shirt with a collar, and jeans, Hendin dons a lab coat when required. And he wears glasses. \0-0/
Personality: Hendin will raise his voice and give his opinion if necessary, but is otherwise a quiet man, with a slightly cynical nature at times. He works for himself because he wants to, rather than on the orders of his superiors, who generally give him free rein. He loves his lab. A lot.
Family: Both his parents are dead. He has an elder brother, Carl, who is a simple soldier for the Blockers.
Motivations: None, exactly. But he does like to have a good laugh at the expense of his employers, the Blockers.
Special abilities: He’s pretty damn smart, but he’s plain human. Very persuasive, though.
Strengths: An incredibly quick mind, confidence to attempt things never done before in science, with a rather surprising ruthless streak.
Weaknesses: In the opinions of his superiors, he’s much better qualified to stay behind in the lab (where usually he’d rather be anyway) and instruct others in the field from there, freer to think and work. (And be dorky. XD) He could be considered rather defiant if a cause got him really worked up, and that could get him in a lot of trouble from the Blocker Powers That Be, because he wouldn’t back down too quick.
