(OOC: This is after the time when he left the Blockers because they found out about his powers and left him in the Wasteland to die.)
Jayson knew that he wasn't exactly welcome at DetaB. He cursed his brother for his predicament. If Martyn hadn't walked in on him while he was practicing his projections, he wouldn't have had to leave his friends behind. Jayson assumed that his friends didn’t know about him being a psychic, the Blockers never liked to admit that they lost a soldier.
He wandered down a hallway, ignoring the fact that conversations stopped while he was near. He kept his eyes on the floor, hoping that maybe someone new would at least tolerate him. If not, he would rather go back to the desert, at least Keila would understand, she didn’t care, she didn’t care when he didn’t have powers.

Lune had wandered away from Level 5 after being assigned her dorm. Since Vice had ditched them and Justice had disappeared, probably to go work out on Level 3, she was left to explore on her own. She'd followed her stomach down to the cafeteria. She had her head down, staring att he map the dorm-assigning computer had printed out for her, trying to figure out the way through the quad to the cafeteria. She was so busy looking at her map that she didn't even notice the young man until she had run into him and they were both sprawled on the floor. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" Lune gasped, jumping to help him up. "I wasn't watching where I was going!"

Jayson looked up at her in surprise. He was wary of females... or any other psychic for that matter. He took her offer anyways. "Thanks." He shrugged. "I wasn't watching either, so I forgive you."

Lune studied the quiet boy for a moment. He seemed distracted and a little wary. "Are you new here too?" She wondered. "I just arrived a few hours ago from Metropolis. You wouldn't happen to know where the caf is, would you? This map doesn't make any sense and my tour guide was less than helpful."

"Cafeteria? Yeah, I can tell you're new." He shook his head and took her map, spreading it flat, he pointed to a spot and a red X showed up. "This is the caf is," He pointed to another. "This is where we are." a small red dot appeared. he moved his finger along the hallways and a dotted line appeared. "This is the fastest way, but it would be faster if i showed you." The red marks disappeared after a few seconds.

"Hey, that was cool!" Lune grinned. "How'd you do that?" She prodded at the map, wondering if there was something in the paper that made the marks appear.

He laughed. "Illusion. I can create Illusions." He offered her his hand. "I'm Jayson, or Jay for short. I knew a girl who would only call me Illusion though." His mood darkened slightly at the reference to Keila.

"Oh, well my name's Lune." She replied, deciding to ignore Jay's scowl when he mentioned the girl who called him illusion. She had very mild empthy, but she still felt a flicker of something from him when he thought of her. Most psychics had pasts they didn't like to talk about so she avoided the subject. "So how long have you been with Detab?" She wondered as she starting walking towards the caf.

"A couple of weeks." He was glad that she didn't try and pry. "But I'm used to the maze of halls and living in dorms." He realized his blunder too late and didn't even bother to correct himself.

"I'm so hungry!" Lune whined. "I haven't eaten since this morning. It's hard to believe just this morning I was hanging around in Metropolis thinking I was never going to find my way to DetaB and now here I am!" She frowned at Jay, who was very quiet as they found their way to the caf. "But you don't seem too excited to be here. It's a bit weird to finally be here, and the dorms are pretty small, but I guess it's better than living on Earth, right?"

"I never lived on Earth." He was quite quiet, but he new he had to answer. He wouldn't say anything unless she asked outright. "I guess you could say that I'm not excited, not really."

"You've never been to Earth?" Lune blinked. If he'd never been on Earth and was only with DetaB a few weeks then...she shook her head and tried to fight off the confusion. He seemed reluctant to talk about it, so she tried to forget it. They entered the cafeteria and Lune smiled at the selection of food. "Oh wow! It all looks edible too!" She ran over to the display and admired the various foods available. "If only the guys were still alive..." She sighed. "They would have loved it here."

Jayson disliked the fact that the cafeteria had gone quiet when he entered. It was always like that, everywhere he went, people went quiet. A teen near Lune heard her comment and decided to remark. "Blockers?" The teen got the satisfaction of seeing Jayson stiffen.

"Oh, yeah..." Lune frowned. "My group on Earth was attacked by Blockers not long ago. They collapsed the building we were staying in. Only my friend Justice and I made it out alive." She fought back tears as she thought about her friends. The'd counted on her as their leader to keep them safe, but she'd failed them. They were all crushed, even Crayola... just thinking about the little girl made her rigid. "Well, I guess they're in a better place now." She sighed.

Jayson started shaking and had to head out of the cafeteria. He stopped once he was outside and leaned up against the wall. He spun around and hit it with his fist. His powers created the illusion that he had created an indent. He stood there with his fist on the wall and his head down. The girl Lune was talking to watched him go out. “I wish he would just grow up and get over it.”

"What do you mean?" Lune questioned her. But she didn't wait for an answer. She hurried out after Jay and found him just outside. There was an indent in the wall, but when she reached her hand up to touch it the wall was intact. She could feel waves of emotion coming from of him, most of them jumbled together. There was a lot of anguish there though, and was that...guilt? "I don't suppose you want to talk about it?" She asked.

His voice was shaking and he let go of the illusion. “I used to be a Blocker.” His voice was also that of self-loathing. He took a step back and returned his hand to his side. Looking up at Lune, he dared her with his eyes to reject him.

Lune stared at him for what seemed like an eternity. "A...Blocker? But you're a psychic!" How was that even possible? How could a psychic be a Blocker? "So that's why you've never been to Earth..." She said finally. But that would have to mean that psychics were turning up on Moon and Mars now as well. That would make things interesting, especially since the Blockers had such a tight hold on the people there. "How did you end up here, then?"

Jayson smiled bitterly and shook his head. “I never said I had never been to Earth, I just never lived. There. I was in the wasteland for a week, after that my powers showed up.” He gauged her reaction and continued. “I net a girl there, she set me up with her cousin, Dace.” He looked away. “Something happened to him, I don’t know what, but he doesn’t recognise me.”

"You know Dace?" Lune gaped. "Is there something wrong with Dace? He seemed alright when I met him."
