Oliver stood with his back to the wall and his palms pressed flat. His knees were bent and he balanced on the balls of his feet, like a cat prepared to pounce upon its prey. Watching what played out in front of him, it would seem the unknown assailant possessed telekinesis.
This presented multiple options. A simple plan like a melee assault could be effective, as Sven held the boy's attention and the current focus of his abilities... but if it failed it would have the worst results. Using illusions risked revealing his true self to Sven, but it was a chance worth taking.
A row of flames seemed to ignite between the two men who fought over the guitar and roared to life, then arced in a wide circle about the nameless boy. After a moment the fire receded and dispersed into several snakes surrounding the boy, hissing and coiling to strike.

The sudden appearance of the flames shocked Sven, the guitar falling to the ground as he moved his concentration onto avoiding the element. He rolled and immediately hopped to a standing position. Further action was deemed unnecessary when the fire was focused onto the boy in front of him. The boy seemed just as freaked out, shielding himself as best as he could muster from the flames, then staring with an obvious look of panic in his eyes toward the ring of snakes.
The boy waved a hand toward the snakes, probably a motion of telekinesis in an attempt to move the snakes away only to discover nothing moved. Well, not any of the snakes. Sven was knocked back a ways, though managed to remain on his feet. It had seemed as if the boy was going to flee, but upon seeing the unwillingness of the snakes to follow the force he had made to move them the boy became less afraid.
A half laugh mixed with a sigh of relief escaped him as he realized what this was. The boy moved forward and again sent another wave of force to stop Sven from moving forward immediately, though this time it was weaker than the last one. The boy swiftly reached down to grab the guitar then spun around and started his escape.
Sven had lost a bit of his balance from the last wave, going down to his knee giving the boy enough time to snatch the guitar. Muttering, Sven glanced around for where Jennifer had disappeared to before thinking about chasing after the boy for the guitar.

Oliver swore to himself. He had been found out too quickly, rendering his illusions completely ineffective... he had at best been a minor annoyance. At this time, any other person might have been spurred to take physical action and given chase or tackled the young boy that now carried the guitar. But too reliant on his powers, Oliver now felt useless.
Falling to his knees, Oliver slumped to the ground and lowered his head. He felt bad about letting Sven down, knowing how important the guitar and its owner seemed to be to his new companion. His focus gone, any illusions he might have been generating now began to dissipate.
"I'm sorry, Sven..."

On the first pass Sven merely glanced over Oliver slumping to the ground, not thinking much of him as he was more interested in finding Jennifer. He hadn't seen her since he was pushed to the ground by the escaping kid and was quite curious, if not a little worried, as to what had happened to her. It was only when Oliver spoke the apology followed by Sven's name did he bring his attention back to the slumped bum, which was good timing since the psychic was just about to start running for the guitar after deciding Jennifer had just fled.
Sven lowered an eyebrow in confusion as to how this guy knew him. It took a few seconds but finally he recognized the man before him as the form Jennifer had been in when they first met. He was confused, but determined the change to be one of her defensive measures. It made sense, as she was a much more interesting target than some regular joe.
"Jen?" he spoke quietly once he confirmed the familiarity. "Hey, no sweat. But I'm gunna lose him if we don't get going." His tone was a bit rushed as he made a small gesture after the slowly shrinking figure of the young teen. Thankfully he hadn't ducked into any alleys, which must have meant they were all dead ends so far. But he had to come across one soon and Sven didn't want to lose track of this kid. Sven moved toward Oliver, leaned to grab the other's arm, and then attempted to pull the man up and drag him along after the guitar snatcher.
He wasn't quite sure why he was dragging Oliver with him, as really this could get dangerous and he didn't want to put Jennifer in harms way. But he was rather enjoying the company.

Oliver remained on the ground, not looking Sven in the eyes. The long pause was uncomfortable and unsettling, but the ragged man would await his punishment. But it was to his surprise that his companion encouraged him to assist in chasing the guitarist.
Being pulled to his feet, he stumbled before gathering his footing and running with Sven at his side. Confused as he was by still being called Jen, he didn't truly have time to digest the situation. The two were both running and the gap was closing, though the guitarist still had a fair lead over them.
Finally deciding to continue his charade, the dirty beggar's form began to meld away. Jennifer's familiar long blonde hair and stark green eyes appeared once more, her shiny red lips parted as she panted while running with the young man toward their prey. However, her outfit was now a pair of tight denim jeans and a sleeveless flannel shirt only buttoned halfway up, her half-exposed chest bouncing in rhythm to her footsteps.
