Trying to keep him self from laughing more and continuing his side pain Jake kept his laughter to a small chuckle.
"yeah but when you kicked that ball straight for my face if I didn’t duck id probly be dead." said Jake as he wiped his brow and stood in the hallway with Earika.

She began to protest. "I wasn't aiming for your face! I swear! It just went up! I was aiming for your-" She cut off then finished lamely, "knee." She waved her hand in a dismissing guesture. "Anyways, what would you do if you got to go up against a psychic?"

[Erk, I'm sorry! I guess what with everything going on at school, stuff like RPing has been totally blocked out...  Stepping out of his lab and into the changerooms, Hendin checked his watch: he had plenty of time before the meeting with the Powers That Be later - not that it really mattered whether he was really early or not. He hung up his labcoat and changed instead to a wine-coloured shirt, leaving it untucked over his jeans. Tying his hair back simply, he walked out of the complex and into the starched white corridor outside. Plenty of time. He wasn't due for another hour - though he'd be there in advance. Wondering what this meeting was about, Alec walked through the corridors completely oblivious of the surroundings and the people around him. Letting his feet choose the left pathway everytime there was a choice and boarding travellators whenever they came up, he soon found himself in the recreation area of the Blocker 'home' - not a place he came often. How did I wind up here?The corridor was empty. Taking another look at his watch, he turned back the way he'd come. A moment later, two people appeared from around a corner, laughing helplessly. Originally intending to ignore them, he drew nearer to find it was Jake and Earika.
